Most paving contractors buy their asphalt. We don't. Our drum-mix plant produces our own hot mix and supplies it to other local contractors — which is why our schedules don't slip, our truck queues don't stall, and we can hold a price on a long job.
It's not a service we sell to homeowners. It's the reason your driveway gets done on the day we said.

MacArthur's Paving & Construction was founded in Moncton in 1979 by Alfred MacArthur. Forty-seven seasons in, the company has just begun a new chapter — under the stewardship of LCL Excavation, a local heavy-civil operator that bought the company in 2026.
The brand stays. The plant stays. The phone number stays. Alfred's name — and the standards he set — stay on every job we sign. What changes is the depth behind it: a bigger fleet, a longer season, and a partner with the iron and crews to keep commitments.
Paving is a trade you can see behind you at the end of every day. We hire operators, labourers, drivers and foremen who take that personally.
